The Henriksen armies grew closer, closer...

Turan turned to look at Peer. He was in the temple. Good.

An arrow flew past his head. He looked back at the Henriksens.

"Damn! What happened to the Greek Fire!?!"

He then saw several flaming Moogles rolling around in the streets.

"Bloody hell..."

The Henriksens began clamoring over the walls. He grabbed his sword and
slashed at one and sent him down. He swore and jumped down to the streets.

"Peer! Peer! We have to get out of here!"

He sighed.

"He'll find his own way out. Moogles! Retreat!"

THe Moogles that weren't raping alleycats scurried to the ports and took
off.

Inside the shrine of Jason Cato...

Peer stood there.

"Ahh.. Jason, you thought you could escape me...?"

He laughed.

The statue of Jason Cato stood there. Slowly tears of blood began to flow
from his eyes.

"YEs... yes..."

"NO!"

Peer whirled about. There stood before him, Kiln, the Knight of Cato.

"You..."

"I will defend this shrine at all costs!"

"What are you going to do, little one?"

And Peer looked at him with a tint of humour in his eyes. A fireball glowed
in his hands and Kiln was sent against the wall.

Peer turned back to the bleeding statue.

As Peer chanted some more, Kiln pulled out the Sacred Cato Arrows.

He aimed, and fired.

The Daemon Peer felt a sharp pain in his back. He turned around to Kiln,
only to see an arrow in his chest. A third struck his arm.

"Bastard!"

"Begon, Hellspawn!"

A fourth arrow hit between the eyes and Peer fell to dust.

*«Quit»* Peer (~Peer@Peer.com) has quit MW. (Read Error: Connection reset by
Kiln).

Back at the MW base in Vector, Mog burst up in his bed.

"PEEEER!!!"

The eternal lord of darkness...

"It was the end of the earth year 2260, and the war was upon us, suddenly,
and unexpectedly. All around us, it was as if the universe was holding it's
breath, waiting... All of life can be broken down into moments of
transition, or moments of revelation. It's felt of the feeling of both.
G'kian wrote: There is a greater darkness than the one we fight, it is the
darkness of the soul, that has lost it's way. The war we fight is not
against our inprincipalities, it is against kinnas and despair. Great than
the death of future is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this
Peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting for
moments of transition to be born, and moments of revelation. No one knows
the shape of that future or where it will take us, we only know that it is
always born... in pain.."
