Turan sat on the throne, formerlly Mog's.
Umaro, Mog's loyal bodyguard, had been AWOL since Mog disapeared. No one had
seen either of them since the assault by the Reptites.
Turan sighed. Today was the induction.
Today, he was king.
Today, he would call the shots. Today would be his chance.
This was the day.
Koshiro, Turan's soon to be domestic advisor, strolled in.
"Sir, we are aware now that Denar attempted to sell us out."
Turan nodded.
"Now, sir, the Vectorian soldiers are still loyal to him. If we off him like
you're planning to do..."
"The soldiers will be executed."
Koshiro blinked.
"Sir?"
"Majesty."
"Majesty?"
"If we kill Denar and leave them alive, they will riot and revolt. If we
exile them, they will simply go over to Figaro's side. Best to kill them."
Koshiro nodded.
"Aye... Majesty."
Turan got up and adjusted his robe. He then strolled out to the balcony.
He overlooked the crowd.
Suddenly, he forgot what he was going to say.
"Majesty..." wispered Koshiro. "They're your crowd, now."
Turan nodded, and then stared at his crowd.
"Citizens of Vector... it appears that I am your King." he started.
A few jeers rose up from the crowd.
"As your King, I will lead us into a new era, an era Mog dreamed of, but
could never attain. An era where Moogles will be the undisputed ruler this
planet!" he bellowed.
The Moogles began to roar.
Standing in the corner, Denar chuckled. His men were getting into place. He
just needed to wait for the signal.
"Now, for my first act of Furred Supremecy..." began Turan. "I must inform
you that we have been betrayed."
Denar looked at Turan.
"Denar Branford, former ruler of this area, has apparantly attempted to sell
us out to the Reptites."
Denar blinked.
"We intercepted a note for them, explaining his master plan."
Denar tried to fight back the sweat on his brow, then he felt two powerful
Moogleboars thrust him to the alcove.
"This is our first Enemy!" bellowed Turan.
In an instant, the Vectorian army, filtered into one of the sections,
screamed. Denar caught site of a.... giant penis? Whatever it was, it was
tearing apart his soldiers.
He swore.
"So, Denar, tell us... why did you do it?" asked a grinning Turan.
Denar clenched his teeth.
"Fuck you, furball. I did nothing of the sort."
"Boy, I'm hurt." chuckled Turan. He then pulled out a parchment.
"Dearest Sssracts, we of Vector request liberation from the dark moogle
forces that have infested our dear kingdom... etc etc etc."
Denar suddenly felt a chill up his spine.
"No... I didn't write that... I.. I didn't!" he yelped as a Moogleboar
shoved him off the alcove, to the roaring Moogles. "I DIDN'T!!!!" was the
last coherent thing Turan heard as the crowd was upon him.
Turan turned away. He chuckled.
One less problem to deal with.
