It was a full moon that lighted the dark woods. A light mist could be
seen, clinging to the shadows, breathing in and out of the darkness.
Through the darkness ran a figure, a man. The man was tall and lanky, no
muscular. He carried two swords, one white, one black. He looked about,
unsure of his surroundings.
Tim knew the enemy was out there, hunting him. They were near, he had to
be careful, they could jump out at any second and attack him.
A moogleboar loomed out of the darkness and began approaching Tim at a
steady gallop on all fours. The rough bony spikes protruding from it's
shoulders shone a pale white in the moonlight.
  Tim readied his two swords.
As the beast neared, he struck forward with his long, white sword, then
stepped back and turned. The result was the boar was pierced in the
shoulders, right by the neck, but Tim stepped clear of the animals charge. A
fine spray of blood issued forth, covering Tim in gore.
Tim stood, breathing hard, unsure of what had just happened. The
Moogleboar disappeared into the shadows.
From a spooky tree, a figure clad in a robe stepped forward. Tim could see
nothing of the figure, but two red eyes that shone forth like rubies.
In an unearthly voice, it said very softly, "You..."
"What?" asked Tim. His own voice a soft murmur.
"You are the one," said the voice.
"No," said Tim. "I don't want to be. I don't want want it."
A scaly hand pointed at Tim. "You will soon be the one. I have chosen
you."
"Dam you!" screamed Tim. He swung his long sword at the cloaked figure,
the blade slicing through the fabric. The figure disppeared in a cloud of
black smoke, that expanded, filling the air. It swam out, and engulfed Tim
in it's blackness.
  "Ah!" cried Tim.
Tim awoke with a start. He sat botlt upright and looked around.
Tim was in camp, in Loritown. It was the third day of his break off. He
had slept well into morning. And the dream was very real. Bowing his head,
Tim shook it slightly.
  "bad dreams, that's all."
