"So, you..." Suddenly, something clicked in his head. "We have to go. Now." He quickly rushed off to the exit he had seen before. Sephiroth and Drugga shrugged and bounded after him. Drugga's new goliath lover took off after them too, carrying Ken and co. on it's shoulders. SOon, they were out of the hangar. The battlefield had been cleaned up of it's dead by scavengers. Turan looked to Vector. Something was deeply bothering him, he honestly could not remember the time between his entering that hangar and seeing that goliath looming him. However, it could wait, and he had a war to fight. Sephiroth stopped short at the entrance. "I can't go in there." "Suit yourself, mom." said Turan. Sephiroth sighed. Drugga chuckled. "WEez c'n wait out 'ere." * * * * * * Mog himself surveyed the soldiers training. Surprisingly, the soldiers were well trained. Just not in any really stunning battle tactics. It didn't matter. They would attack soon. The army's morale was too low and he needed a victory to fix it. He was about to announce the preparation to march when he saw a silver haired Moogle run up to him. "Turan!" he yelled. "Dad. You really should tell me of my origins before I learn them from others." said Turan with a frown. "But that doesn't matter right now. I talked to a few soldiers. You suffered a loss?" Mog nodded. "I have some allies who may be able to assist us." said Turan. "Order them to march under me." Mog chuckled. "Will do." he turned to the soldiers. "Attention!" yelled the sergant. Mog chuckled. "Men! Kupopopopo!" The men cheered and slowly marched out of the city, Turan at the lead. Mog sniffled. "Make me proud, boy." * * * * * * * * Tim stood beside Hisel, and Martin just a short ways in front of him. Scouts had reported that a Moogle unit had been deployed in southeastern Doma. Speculation was that they would pillage the small villages there to boost morale. Given their recent victory, the General decided that similar tactics would work, the Moogles couldn't change their strategy that quickly. And they felt crushing the Moogles again would stop Mog's assault in his tracks. This time they had a definate advantage. The Moogles would be approaching on flat ground, and they had the advantage of a U-Shaped hill that was needed to be crossed, and very easily defended. They had their archers ready, and the Phalanx units were more than prepared. Tim saw his old company, holding the middle. He chuckled. "You trained them well." said Hisel. "I hope the General is right about the Moogles." "I feel we are making a grave mistake somehow." grumbled Tim. "The tactics the Moogles use may be outdated, but they aren't stupid. They must have something up their sleeve..." "Aye, but the general had that in mind. Thus the hill pass. There's no way the Moogles can charge through here, and we have enough calvalry to handle them attempting to go around us." chuckled Hisel. Tim nodded, and was silent. The first standards of Vector and Mog were showing on the Horizon. * * * * * * * * Turan sat on his black chocobo steed in front of the marching army. At his sides were Sephiroth and Ken. Nearby, Drugga was in his steel goliath, getting fed pornographic sounds by the second. Sephiroth sighed. He was here for his son. He honestly did not want to help the Moogles, but his son didn't seem to realize the sever conditions of his birth. Drugga wasn't saying anything, and that didn't help the situation at all. However, from the reports of the last battle, he was able to formulate a strategy. The soldiers were briefed and he hoped to the gods that they would hold to it. "Turan.." he started. "A General is not intended to battle. When the battle starts, you should stay to the back." Turan nodded. He parted off and rode to the back to meet his colonels, including the military's previous general. Sephiroth examined the army. It was quite a strange mix. Moogles, Moogleboars, Vectorian infantry, Magitek infantry, a guy in a long white trenchcoat who looked like he had been through a lot. Sephiroth blinked. Who the hell was he. "You there!" he yelled to him. The man rushed out. "What?" he grumbled. "What's your name?" "Seifer." said the man. "Mog offered us freedom for rape-torturing his colonel with some strange tools." he shrugs. "I don't really want to remember it." Sephiroth chuckled. "A Queen of Mog, eh?" Seifer gave him the finger and strolled back to his unit. Sephiroth laughed. The army was now within charging range of the Doman force. Sephiroth halted the unit. He examined his enemy. "Damn. Well defended." the Archers would make short work of the Magitek regiment. He looked at his soldiers. All were armed with the secret weapon. Excellent, he thought. He pulled out the Masamune and gave the order. "CHARGE!" The Unit filled forth as a whole. The Doman phalanxes readied themselves for impact and the Archers pulled their longbows back. Just before the Moogle Army was in the Archer's relative range, they stoped. "HALT!" yelled Sephiroth. "Ready, FIRE!" Suddenly, the entire Unit pulled out Crossbows. Tim stood wide eyed. "Blast it! Pull back! Pull back!" But it was too late. The front corps fell, even despite the Moogles' bad aim. An endless wave of bolts generated by the Unit swapping lines in order, allowing the back to reload. Tim grabbed a longbow. He had to take out the leader. He pulled the bow back, checked his aim, and fired. Sephiroth's orders were stopped as his chocobo was suddenly struck in the throat with an arrow. It fell to the ground lifeless. However, despite the loss, his plan was working perfectly. Not only did the missile fire put the Doman army into disarry, it also was allowing the army to seperate into several smaller units, almost perfect for when it was decided to charge. Tim looked at Hisel. Hisel was at a loss of what to do. If his confusion was showing, it wasn't nearly as bad as the grunts. Some were charging, others fleeing. Some of the more trained units had pulled together a wall of metal shields and we simply waiting it out. Had he examined them, Tim would have been pleased to know that his old company had been among these. Fortunetely, the idea was beginning to follow through the whole army. The unfortunete part was the losses were fairly severe. The crossbow fire stopped. A few more intellegent archers began firing volleys back, and a few more had been the whole time. The companies had their shields up. Those in the back awaited the orders they were expecting. For a moment, the battlefield was motionless. Hisel examined his enemies. He suddenly had a look in his face. "Hold the brigade." he said to Tim as he rushed off to the General. "Wha-?" started Tim, squinting to see what Hisel had seen. He examined each unit the Moogles had arranged. Vectorian companies, Moogle squads, Swarms of Moogleboars, Vectorian and Moogle calvalry, Magitek infantry, and one gigantic piece of armour. He kept looking. Then he realized it. There was much less Calvalry than before. "Fuck!" he yelled almost aloud. He looked around. No one had heard him. Good. He could prepare the brigade. He ran to them. "Sergents! Prepare your companies! Defense on all sides!" The Sergents quickly got the idea. But it was too late. Even as Hisel returned to examine the defense Tim had arranged, the Archers rolled down the hill, several bolts within them. Other bolts fell on the army from missed shots. The Calvalry, armed with crossbows, poured over the hillsides. Seeing this, the main units of the Moogles charged. "Blast it!" grumbled Hisel. "Not only have they taken the city, they assured that almost every soldier here is going to bloody die!" Tim knew he was right. But he knew they couldn't give up. There were archers pulling back on his side. He examined the escape routes. There was one, except it would lead straight to the villages. If the army was to flee now the Moogles would more likely than not be at free reign to overrun the continent. The road to the village was conviently met by two hills, where the General was currently parked, barking out orders. The area surrounding the hills was dense forest. The Moogles would be foolish to try and go through them and keep a strategic advantage. He had it. Of course. But he couldn't order such a movement. "Sir. We need to fall back." "What? We have to hold a stand!" grumbled Hisel. "No, Hisel, sir, I mean it. That last hill there can be easily held." Hisel looked and examined the hill. "Genius... bloody Genius!" "Martin!" yelled Tim. "Go inform the other lieutenants of this. FAST!" Martin rushed off. Tim examined the battle again. One entire brigade had been destroyed, due to the Magitek infantry. The swordsman were making a valiant stand against the vectorian troops, and holding the better half. That metal goliath was eating away at another unit, only stopped because the soldiers were attempting to tie it's legs up. It had a gigantic metal rod that emitted death at every opportunity, and it's face resembled an ork. Martin ran back. "Huff.. huff.. they are with you, Tim." Tim nodded, and looked to Hesel. Hisel nodded. "FALL BACK! Guard the hills!" The Lieutenants managed to hold their troops together, for the most part. Tim saw several sergants cut grunts down, some from his old company, even. The Moogle force plowed forward for a second, but the man in the lead, having aquired a new chocobo, and another Moogle that resembled him greatly, managed to halt it. Turan looked at the defensive wedge the Domans had set up. "We can't break that. We're not disiplined enough." Sephiroth nodded. He backed the units up. He then grabbed a Longbow used by one of the human archers, and shot an arrow towards the human army. It hit an phalanxman's shield. Drugga had disembarked his Goliath and strolled over. "Goddamn, dat wuz FUN!" he growled aloud. Sephiroth smiled. "Do you agree? Was that uplifting?" The Vectorian troops cheered. The Moogles gave a hearty kupo. Turan chuckled. "Fall back. We've shown them what we're made of." There was a murmuring across the army. "What the hell are they doing?" grumbled Tim. "Fall back! We will take them another day!" The Moogles slowly started to move back. Finally, they began to carry the bodies off the field, human and archer. Drugga stared at the still defensive force. "'eh, weez gotcha." he then mooned them and walked away, Goliath close behind. Tim looked at Hisel. Hisel looked at the General. The General yelled CHARGE! The Human force let loose. In a sudden frenzy they rushed across the battlefield to the moogles, who were still slowly falling back. Then, they readied their crossbows again, and the volley of bolts started firing. * * * * * * * * This time, the army's return to Doma was not a glorious one. While the battle had been a victory, it was an intentional retreat by the Moogles. They had held the pass, but only because the Moogles didn't want to waste lives trying to break their defense. Tim sighed as he walked with his brigade and Hisel. They did have a damage count. An entire brigade was slaughtered, and another was reduced to ten men. Other brigades suffered heavy losses. Most of the archers were lost, and the Calvalry that was guarding the hills were unspoken for. As they loomed through the gates, we greeted by many people. Spirits began to be raised. The Baron of the various towns that we endangered himself had rode ahead and thanked the General for saving the town. Soon, the army's losses were forgotten to many of the grunts. Tim's mind loomed and brooded that it took him a moment to notice Hisel nudging him. "That's you, Sergant Major." Tim shook his head. "Excuse me?" "The General has called you up." Tim sighed. He slowly made his way to the General who was overlooking the now mixed soldier/civilian crowd. Tim climbed onto the stage. The General handed Tim a Nodatchi, sheathed in the softest leather. Tim's old company was the first to begin cheering. His brigade followed. Soon, most of the army still present was in arms. "I present you this blade of wisdom for your incredible tactical knowledge that saved the battle." Tim smiled. "It was merely a spur of the moment though, Sir." The General shook his hand and the crowd slowly began to disperse. Tim was in some aspect of a shock. He was in complete shock, actually. * * * * * * * The General himself sat before Cyan's war council. "So, I takes it the battle didst go well?" The General sighed. "We suffered heavy losses, Excellency. We held the pass, however. The Moogles retreated." Cyan nodded. "I have a report of the battle, Excellency." He handed it to the table. Cyan read it. "They had ye at thine knees and left? That cannot possibly aide their morale problem." "They made up for it." said General Lance Henriksen entering. "The Moogles took out Tzen on their way back. This time they didn't bother holding it, simply pillage." Ladice lowered her head. "I am sorry, Princess. We could not do anything." "We'd have outnumbered the Moogle two to one had you added your force to ours." muttered the General. "I recieved a messenger from you saying you didn't want us handling your problems, General." said Lance rather curtley. "I never sent a messanger." The all blinked. "I thought we got rid of the link with Smura." "Motherfucking! This is fucking insane." grumbled GoGo. Kat sighed. "Irregardless of our guest's borders, the Barony was safe?" The General nodded. "Then mission acomplished." she said. The General left. Lance Henriksen sat down. "I suppose we shall be merging forces then, King." Cyan shook his head. "Nay. Ye'art our ace in the hole. Keep back, we needn't draw attention to thy realm." Lance nodded. "Ah.." began Ladice. "I will need to travel to Figaro for a few days. I might be able to convince Sabin II there to join with us. I shall need an escourt." Cyan bowed. "M'lady, ye may pick from the finest of my troops." "Thank you." * * * * * * * * Mog sat in his office. Across from him at the table sat his Queens, Squall, Seifer, Zell, Selphie and Cait Sith. "In light of your recent service to the empire, you are upgraded from my slave bitches to true queens, and are free to do as you wish." "Hey! You just keep away from my ass!" yelled Zell. "Oh please, Zell." grumbled Seifer. "Like Mog would be interested in your chicken-wussy ass anyway." Squall and Selphie held Zell back. "Now, next order of business." Ken, Resumama and Noodles strolled in, with Mr. Bishounen on Resumama's shoulder. "Ah. Welcome... ahh..." "Ken. The Yaoi Beard Man." Mog suddenly started laughing. "What!?! What is so funny about my name?" "Nevermind." said Mog. "I've been told about a Sorceror or something." "Yes. A Sorceror named Mogomra." started Ken. * * * * * * * * Sephiroth, Turan, Drugga and Drugga's Goliath sat outside the castle walls at a campfire. "Mother... why will you not enter the city?" asked Turan. "Heh... your father and I ended on bitter terms. I'd rather not see him." Drugga just smiled, like he knew something. "You, ahh.. Drugga. Do you know anything about my origins?" Sephiroth looked at him. Drugga looked back. "Aw, fuckit. No wun else iz gunna tell yah. Ma cumpadre 'ere was a Queen uv yer father, and got knock'r up. 'e then dissented 'n wound up 'n ma camp. 'e 'ad paired up wit' a chick named Jaana, and den went inta laba. Weez inzizted 'un gettin' Jaana sum prustatootz, bot she kept refuzin." "Jaana was also the one that killed you, Drugga." "Yah, but damn, she wazn' af bad in da sack." Sephiroth blinked. "I never knew about that part.." "Yooz didn? Oh. Nevamind." Turan blinked. "This Jaana... Where is she now?" "We don't know. She disapeared into thin air one day." "Was Jaana better than me in the sack, Druggey?" bellowed Drugga's Goliath, Slutty, as he decided to call it. "Yes!" yelled Drugga. "Go ta sleep, bitch!" The Machine shut down. -- The eternal lord of darkness... "Silly!"
