Wilma calmed down. For a while, she had been manically plotting various
schemes, but could never decide on one long enough to see it through. So far
the only thing she had got around to doing was painting a hyphen between two
of the letters in "Library" on some sign somewhere.
"Okay," she said to herself, "I've got to focus my energy towards one
plan of action, and it has to be a good one." She turned to her powers.
During all those years in solitude, Wilma had learned many skills, skills
that her mother would have killed to have learned herself, skills that would
have saved her twin sister. These powerful skills are proven to not be only
beneficial to her. They are also a curse.
During all those years in that prison her mother put her in, with no
light and no other living creatures, her other senses became sharper. When
there was nothing to hear, or see, her sixth sense became of use, and the more
she put it to use, the stronger it became. She had become able to 'see' what
was going on anywhere in the outside world.
At this time, she used her sixth sense to scan the entire world to find
where her meddling would do the most harm. A siege in Mysidia? No, Raven was
already doing a fine job there. The liberation of Olympia? Maybe. The
Sliders? Yes!
She determined that if she could effect the way the course of events
would otherwise play out just right, she could indirectly cause the downfall
of this universe. Sweet!
