Date: Mon, 6 Jul 1998 18:56:47 -1000 Subject: [ffml] [MW] Jaana and Sephiroth Lay Low.....for the time being From: "Jaana" OOC: Okay, since I'm going to be gone for an semi-extended period of time, I thought I'd throw this in to explain my absence. IC: "It's very strange," Jaana said, "being out on my own like this again." Sephiroth nodded. Jaana did feel strange. It had been several days since she and Sephiroth had left the army: days which had been filled with nothing but aimless wandering through the countryside, and truthfully, she was getting sick of it. She hadn't felt this listless since she had first gotten the urge to leave this world, decades before. She wondered if maybe it was time for a change of pace. She grew tired of the same landscapes, day after day. She wondered if Midgar was still standing. There had been no reports of Mog's army kupoing Midgar to the ground, but there were so many armies roaming the lands nowadays, that it was quite likely that Midgar had been taken by one warring faction or another. Then again, considering everything that Sephiroth had been through in Midgar, maybe it *wasn't* the best place to take a holiday in. And there was always the chance that she might run into Rufus, which would probably not be a good idea. She chuckled to herself as she thought of what might happen if she *did* run into him. They had not left on the best of terms......Jaana vaguely recalled comparing his performance to that of a drunken chocobo and definitely remembered his threatening to blow off certain parts of her body with his shotgun if he ever saw her again. "Damn....he always did have a temper....." she muttered. "What?" Sephiroth asked, confused. Jaana snapped back to reality. "Oh, nothing.....sorry.....off in JaanaLand again." Sephiroth chuckled. "Hey, I just had an idea!" Jaana exclaimed. "Okay....what?" "Where are we going?" "Ummm......." Sephiroth had a puzzled look on his face. "We're not going *anywhere* in particular, are we?" "No...." "Well.....who said that we had to go nowhere in this particular dimension?" Sephiroth looked at her warily. "No one......" "Well....." Jaana began rustling in her bag, "Have you ever been to Yew?" "Yew?" "Yeah! Yew!" "I don't think so.....what is it?" Jaana smiled as she pulled a small pouch out of her bag. "It's a place I used to live a LONG time ago. You'll like it, it's nice." "Okay." "Now, let me see if I can remember how to open these portals......"
