The tent they had set up shook in the rain, but she didn't care. Almost tripping over Ladaku's sleeping form as she rushed out of the tent, she stumbled towards a hole in the ground and let her guts loose. Looking at the reddish cesspool that was before her, she spat the remaining bile out of her mouth and grumbled to herself. This was the fourth time she had woken up like this. The rain was drenching her body. Grumbling to herself, she slowly strolled back into the tent to rest. * * * * * * Twelve more days until the full moon, and a storm shall be raised. Thanatos sighed. He really wasn't overlly keen on using the poor girl, but that nagging feeling of 'any day now' was getting stronger every day for him. He had left his job of watching Ladaku's party to return to his home on Reptilia, carefully teleporting back to avoid Godzilla's watchful eye. The small shack he had crudely constructed years ago swayed in the wind. It was one hell of a storm, even here. Something was up. Fortunately, it didn't have to do with him. Most likely Hecht had just learned how to alter the weather and was having a field day. Whatever turned his crank. Using some age old ink, Thanatos wrote the note he hoped would be found by him at one point. Most likely when this note was found, Thanatos would be gone. He sighed. * * * * * * * "They are still near us, Kefka." Kefka nodded as the wind howled around their tent. "Look, Aracalen, about that cave." "Lemme guess, those two crystals you have there." "Man, nothing gets by you." "No, I guess it doesn't. Well, you managed to jar my memory with those. We need to gather as many of those crystals as possible." "Alright. There was a third one at the place that I was unable to aquire for some reason." "Right, your burning hand. I could probably get ahold of it without much problem. I'd assume that stupid esper has it." "Yeah, I can feel it." "I suggest we kill a few birds with one stone." noted Aracalen. "Tonight, I will call for a friend. We'll assault them in the early hours of tommorrow." "I get it. We get the crystal, kill the motherfuckers and aquire some extra firepower in the process." Aracalen nodded. -- The eternal lord of darkness... Celeste examined the figure of Thanatos as he rested in meditation. Ever since she had met Saal-dor, she had heard tales of Thanatos, until she finally discovered him whilst the band slept, slipping out before Arcanis took off and got his ass handed to him by Kefka. Thanatos wasn't overlly pleased to have been discovered initially but he seemed to be warming to her. It was strange, it was as if he was calling her to him at times. She had dreamed of his past, and he had verified it as his own. A creature who had lived for thousands and thousands of years, suffering the deaths other than his own. HIs daughters and his sons... Then again, one thing she did note from her mental adventures with him was that Thanatos was in some areas a real sick fuck. His last surviving daughter, Wilma, was also his lover, him never telling her he was her father. Celeste theorized that Thanatos would have done the same to Schala had she not summoned Lavos around the end of the second Moogle War. Hell, knowing what he had done he would probably have- On second thought, she didn't really want to go there. She was all for bisexuality in women, but her somewhat chauvinist ways had kept her in the mindframe that males sleeping together was nasty. Especially incestial-cross race style. Damnit, she just went there. Thanatos let out a chuckle. "You seem bored." "Damn rights." grumbled Celeste. "Any paticular reason you called me here?" "Yes... but that reason has exausted itself. You may leave." And then he fell silent again. Celeste swore in her mind. What the hell was he doing with her, anyway... -- The eternal lord of darkness... Subj: [ffml] [HD] Calm before a storm Date: 01-03-12 00:43:58 EST From: darklord@compusmart.ab.ca (His Dark Lordship) Reply-to: ffml@yahoogroups.com To: ffml@yahoogroups.com (ffml), hilliondynasty@egroups.com (Hillion Dynasty) Burdock grunted as he motioned his axe towards a direction. Up until this morning, Ladaku had been leading the band, but he had mysteriously disapeared during the night. Celeste sighed. She wondered if her suspicions were corrected. Arcanis was just fuming about the whole situation. The Northern Paladin was in a panic, and Lia, well, Lia was more or less just there. Her group was ever shrinking, it seemed. Saal-dor was only occasionally around, usually at nights. Junior and Gage had taken off to be with the horny woman, Lakadu had just ditched them... Burdock had insisted on taking control, however, despite Arcanis' objections. However, the old dwarf seemed to know what he was doing, so it all fell together regardless. "Aye, methinks they're goin' in this way." he grunted, motioning with his axe. "Why are we following a four foot nothing?" grumbled the Northern Paladin. "I should be in charge. This is my adventure, after all." "Oh shut up, blubberball." grumbled Celeste. "FUCK YOU! I'M THE NORTHERN PALADIN, MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY AND I KNOW MARTIAL ARTS!" "Okay!" yelled Celeste, clentching her fists. "If you say that ONE MORE TIME I am going to hit you with a lightning bolt so strong that you'll shit out ten pounds of fat." "PHhhhh.. riiight lady. Like some dorky journeyman redmage is a match for the Northern Paladin, Master of Technology, who happens to know-YEOOW!!!" A horrible stench filled the air as weird bubbling noises were heard. The clouds dispeared above the Northern Paladin's head. Celeste dusted her hands together. "Don't mess with me. I was trained by the more agrivating bitch around." "Uhhh..." gulped the Northern Paladin. "Does anyone have a change of clothes?" * * * * * * * "So, Aracalen, who is this 'friend'?" "Well, Kefka, long before the great Godzilla ruled this earth, the previous rulers created a race of superwarriors, more powerful than the gods but obedient to them. Most of them perished when Godzilla took over, but a few remained in a pocket dimension they had created." "And you plan to get at this thing how?" "I told you Kefka, there is no knowledge that is not power." Aracalen drew a circle around a small plain, and drew a cross in the dirt. He motioned for Kefka to stand back. "The most powerful of these creations, it slew the first four children of Godzilla before it was hidden away." Kefka nodded. Aracalen pulled out a book that had the words written upon it; Necronomicon Ex Mortis. Opening it to a page, Aracalen began to recite many strange words. Kefka sat back, enjoying the spectacle. Finally, Aracalen raised his voice for the final incantation.. "KLATTU..... FERRATTA.... NICHTO!" There was a moment of silent, and then Kefka felt the earth shake. * * * * * * * "What the..." grumbled Arcanis as he quickly activated a levitation spell. "Earthquake!" yelled Burdock as the tremor shook through the woodland. Then, almost as soon as it was there, it was gone again. Celeste cluctched her stomache in agony. "I don't feel so good..." She vomitted. -- The eternal lord of darkness...
