Drugga and Nicotron Z had travelled several days since the fight with the
aliens. THe pair were recovered fairly decently, though it was easier for
Drugga to regenerate skin cells than it was for Nicotron Z to replace
parts.
"So, Nicotin'"
"Nicotron Z."
"Woteva. 'o madez yooz anywayz?"
"Excuse me?"
"All 'droidz 'ave makaz. Yooz like, wunuvdem ancien' relicz 'er wot?"
Nicotron Z stood silent for a moment.
"Memory band failure."
"Dammit, talk nermally."
"Speak for yourself."
"Diz iz nermally." grumbled Drugga. "Oi, ah think weez iz reachin' a
kleerin'."
The pair strolled past the treeline. They were in a small village, or the
remains of one. Half of it was buried under wind passed sediments. The odd
burnt house sprouted up from under the ground. Human skulls scattered the
area.
"Woah. Deez 'omiez got 'der asses kicked..."
Nicotron Z examined the area. There was something... familiar about this
area.
Suddenly, his energy cells gave out and he collapsed.
Drugga looked at him.
"Oi, not anutha wun."
