"Esper..." he muttered to his physical comrade. "I know..." grumbled Aracalen. "I've been hoping of picking up a spell or something, but no avail. The esper is obviously aware that he doesn't want to be seen." Saal-dor sighed. His black heart ached from his earlier actions. He had been contemplating his justification in the slaying of the child. What had bothered him was, had Thanatos ever expected his warriors to seek their own power? Earlier, he had concluded that he hadn't out of selfishness, but now, now he was beginning to question if that had ever crossed his mind. God was Saal-dor's eternal master. So, would that not have also made his son Saal-dor's eternal master? If that was so... Mythology and history were dotted with tales of creations which destroyed their creator. Saal-dor wondered.. was he one of them? Another thing that bothered him was Aracalen's continual paranoia. The fact there was an esper nearby deeply bothered him, yet, he claimed he destroyed the son of God. Then again, he was still young and weak, but... * * * * * * * "Hurry up!" snarled Geshtar. Brian grumbled something as he pulled himself up the forest ridge. Aaron leaned against a tree. This place had a familiar feeling to it. There was a magic feeling around him. Odd how he could feel it. Perhaps his senses were getting more in tuned to this world. Maybe he was just imagining it. Brian finally clambered up. "Alright." grumbled Geshtar, pulling out the map. "If we go north through these woods, we'll reach a place called the 'Arsenal of the Gods.' Northwest of there is Sanctuary. Take a quick breather." Brian nodded in thanks, and leaned up against a tree. "Fuck, I thought one trip up here was enough." he muttered. Aaron finally realized where he was. This was *the* path the heroes had taken earlier, including DLE's character, Ladaku. That was right before Aaron had entered this realm. He suddenly realized something. What was happening with his family right now? Had he been gone for the same amount of time in his own world? It seemed like he had been here several months. That would be enough time for him to be declared dead. He sighed. He missed his family. "Break's over." grumbled Geshtar. "Let's get a move on." Brian muttered something under his breath as the pair started off after Geshtar. * * * * * * * * The Old Reptite stood there silently. "Great Seer, we seek entrance to your majestic study." stated Azala. The Old Reptite, the Great Seer, he called himself, was the last Reptite of Homo Reptilius Prime, the race of Reptites that reigned back in the days of glory. Unlike Azala or Nizbel, who took immortality with grace, the Old Reptite was just that, exceedingly old. He slowly moved back to his desk. "Enter." he uttered. Azala and Nizbel nodded as they passed the toothless one. Upon entering the library, mountains of old tomes and books surrounded them. Every piece of knowledge gathered since the height of the first Reptite empire, over sixty thousand years ago. "I hope I'm up to date on old Glyphs." muttered Nizbel. "So do I." grumbled Azala.
