Sssracts started up in bed.
He felt one last pain in his shoulder.
The last seal was gone.
He felt a darkening feeling about him. Something he had not felt before.
He pulled out of bed. Pulling on a feather robe, he strolled to his window.
Just outside the metropolis-fortress, on one of the skulls that made up the
decor, was a large bonfire.
Many, many naked female reptites dancing around it. In a second circle,
several Reptites in white cloaks chanted in the ancient tounge.
It was the most beautiful sight he'd ever seen.
Quickly grabbing a papyrus and a feathered pen, he jotted down the words.
He then went to an old tome in his closet. He quickly translated the words.

(which, for reader's sake, meant in English)
Hail to the new King, Emperor of the Giants, King of the Monsters.
They were worshippers of the Lizard God.
Yet, something about them... something about those words.
Something inspiring... intoxicating.
A twisted form of logic formed in Sssracts' mind.
The Reptites couldn't stop the Lizard God from taking over again. Sure, they
could resist, but that would cause destruction. Naye, they were better to
embrace the old diety.
Perhaps if he pledged allegiance, he would keep his throne.
He looked over the roof of his great-city/castle. Of course, he would be
faced with very heavy opposition. Perhaps even civil war. But eventually,
the people would see the light. Eventually, they would know the glory
of...
